Writing is my way of experiencing life, my way of interpreting life, it will be my substitute for breathing when I have passed on. I don't believe that my thoughts are any more remarkable or meaningful than the thoughts of anyone else.  It just seems that for some reason I can not clear my head until my thoughts are in black and white, and sometimes I want to share those black and white thoughts with others in hopes that they can help me interpret them better.  I would like to say that I write in order to help humanity and make the world a better place, but that would be a lie.  I write in order to comprehend life.  I write in order to understand myself.

I write mostly non-fiction.  Memoirs and thoughts  about peace and what it means to try and walk through life with meaning and purpose.  I write short quotes and small vignettes of life as I experience it.  My newest book: Reading 10,000 Books: A Journey of Body and Soul can be purchased on Amazon or on the link on my current writing projects page.
